In order to meet the requirements of European Union's new ERP standard, Maxic launched MT7618N, the 1st generation new EU solution in early 2020. MT7618N is designed for new EU DOB bulb application, with simple peripheral circuit and low BOM cost. Besides, Maxic launched the 2nd generation solution, MT7668H, to meet the light efficiency requirement of the new standard that released on September 1, 2021. MT7668H is a high PF (PF>0.7), high efficiency, flicker-free, constant current LED driver. MT7668H has higher than 84%@AC230V efficiency, which is 4% higher than market existing products (product B). The low power consumption allows MT7668H to support single panel PCB filament lamp, saving ¥0.1 yuan (Size E27) PCB cost compared with product B’s double panel.

Meanwhile, MT7668H integrates high voltage power MOS and high voltage power supply circuit, no magnetic components are required, such as inductor and transformer, and has simple peripheral circuit.
