MT2801, newly launched by Maxic, is a highly integrated protocol IC supporting multiple fast charging protocols. Compliant with USB PD3.2 R1.0, functioning as a DFP with programmable power supply (PPS), it is also compatible with BC1.2, QC2.0/3.0, SCP, UFCS, and AFC protocols. MT2801 is widely used in various charging products, like power adapters, in-vehicle chargers, and portable power banks.

MT2801 integrates a high-resolution regulator and constant voltage (CV)/constant current (CC) control loops based on a digital-to-analog converter (DAC), providing precise reference voltage. With the internal 12-bit 100ksps SAR ADC, MT2801 features ±0.5% voltage and ±1% current regulation accuracy, enhancing charging efficiency. It also utilizes FB pin to control external DC-DC controllers, enabling a more flexible power management solution.

  • Multiple Protection Mechanisms

MT2801 integrates multiple protection mechanisms, including over-voltage protection (OVP), under-voltage protection (UVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), limited power source (LPS) and lightning surge protection.
